Coming from the tail end of the baby boom generation it is hard for me to understand how we have let gun violence enter our schools. Arguing is what we do now, it is the guns, parents, video games, environmental pressures, education system, and the kids fault. Everyone wants to blame just one part when as with everything in life, each piece has a part. The time is now, stop arguing about who or what is to blame. Violence begets violence, we must as a nation come together and find a solution that works on the whole and not just a part. If we do not then, the cycle continues. I love my children and I want my future grandchildren not to have to go to school in a maximum security facility because that is the only way we can protect them. We are a nation of intelligent people, if you have thoughts on how to fix this issue, let's get some workable ideas going.
